"The advantages of our development are the cost-efficient production and the adaptation of the manufacturing processes to the conditions in developing and emerging countries. This ensures almost one hundred per cent availability of parts and manufacturing processes on-site."
Daniel Seubert, Head of Technical Development "Water is Light", Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e. V.
"Our turbine system must meet special requirements. For example, it must be able to be manufactured on-site. In order to meet these requirements, we have to work extremely precisely and carefully right from the development stage. This means that we not only develop the model on the computer in CAD but also simulate the water flow around the turbine in software, such as Ansys.“
Maximilian Falk, Simulation Engineer "Water is Light", Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e. V.
"Thanks to the dedication of our 20 members in Regensburg, we have now made great progress with the development of the water turbine. The mechanical development is almost finished. But we have to optimize the water flow and the electronics. This takes time, but it also costs money. In other words, nothing works without money. Therefore, I would like to thank the donors who have supported us so far and look forward to every donation we receive in the future.“
Norbert Grassmann, Head of Regional Team Regensburg, Ingenieure ohne Grenzen e. V.
